Techno-religion is real.
Techno-religion comes in every flavor imaginable. Perhaps it’s the absolute certainty that one preferred computing platform is absolutely better than all others. Perhaps it’s knowing the unquestionable truth that one company or organization is evil and the other is saving the world. Or perhaps it’s the comfort of following every piece of prescriptive guidance to the letter such that nothing could possibly go wrong. We geeks are experts at seeing facts and taking away from them… whatever we want to believe.
Geeky Truths is focused on rethinking commonly held perspectives on technology. We’re here to hopefully break the sales pitch and call out the realities that are commonly glossed over, forgotten, or ignored, but are worth considering.
To be clear, we’re not claiming to be entirely objective… but our perspective is hopefully one that you may not have considered before. We won’t even claim to be absolutely correct… “It Depends” will always apply.
But, we welcome the conversation. Prove us wrong. Teach us something back. They that know everything have much to learn.

Comments welcome. Respect required.
We love counterpoint and debate and discussing the merits of our own truths, and sometimes even having those truths debunked. Conversations are encouraged. Disagreement is an opportunity to learn on every side. However, we must conflict with consideration and respond with respect. If you’re trying to win, you’ve already lost.
